Grilled Lemon Caesar Salad

Twist on the Classic Caesar Salad, Grill It! Grilling adds a new dimension to Romaine. Soft, sweet, succulent, with a little nutty carmelized flavor. Hearty and great for ravenous appetites. Fill up, very low in calories. Low fat,  low carb. Full of antioxidants and tumeric to stimulate your metabolism. Cook wedges in clumping piles so lettuce does not burn on edges.  Turn every few minutes.

Grill thinly sliced lemons, rind and all to accompany the salad.

Grilled Lemon Caesar Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 head Romaine Lettuce
  • 1/2 pack tale Gator Spice Blend
  • 2 med Lemons cut into1/8ths wedges
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Wash and pat dry lettuce heads
  2. Cut lettuce through bottom’s core into 1/4 wedges, drizzle Olive Oil, mix to lightly coat
  3. Grill 350F for 15 minutes, place in small overlapping clumps, turn frequently
  4. Squirt fresh lemon juice for basting on grill, sprinkle and toss tale Gator , lightly
  5. Remove from grill, cover with foil, serve as easy side dish
